ALBUQUERQUE HAS ESTABLISHED ITSELF AS THE SPORTS TOURISM DESTINATION IN NEW MEXICO, AND WE HAVE A DEEP SENSE OF COMMUNITY AND PRIDE THROUGH OUR TEAMS. however, it is rare that we are able to watch one of our home-grown athletes make it to the next level.

In order to solidify our state as an athletic powerhouse, WE NEED TO put more effort in the promotion of our Athletes.  Our goal is to CREATE AN ATHLETIC ENVIRONMENT IN ALBUQUERQUE THAT EVOLVES INTO A COMMUNITY THAT EXCEEDS HIGH SCHOOL RIVALRIES and at the same time, serves as a host to Recreational flag football, basketball, and soccer Leagues.

To establish this community, we need one multi-sport facility that serves as a club to our athletes.  This will also help in attracting "big-name" tournaments to our city, that will help with Albuquerque's exposure, tourism, and motivation.

To Achieve our goal, we will host a variety of cash-prize tournaments throughout the year that serve as tools to identify market-related strengths, challenges, opportunities, and threats associated with the potential new indoor multi-sport facility.  Learning about our market can also help us prepare estimates of economic and fiscal impacts associated with operations of the potential new indoor multi-sport facility.
